Should I Let Alcohol and Caffeine Mix?

Should I Let Them Mix? Caffeine and Alcohol

Some key things to consider before combining Alcohol with Caffeine:

🥂Alcohol is a depressant that increases the release of the GABA neurotransmitter leading to feelings of sedation and relaxation. Alcohol can be lethal if Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) reaches 0.31-0.45%. Additionally, alcohol impairs control over body movements and coordinated motor skills such as driving🚘

☕️Caffeine is a stimulant that causes increased alertness. Caffeine can be lethal at very high doses, between 63-126 cups of coffee or 5-10 grams of Caffeine☠️

💤Caffeine can suppress some of the fatigue associated with alcohol consumption, keeping the user more alert. This can lead the user to believe that they are less drunk than they actually are, leading to overconsumption of Alcohol which can be lethal. Combing these drugs also causes dehydration, which can be deadly in itself😵

🚗Although users may feel more alert, caffeine does not offset the impairment of coordinated motor skills caused by alcohol. So, it is NOT more safe to drive intoxicated because of Caffeine❌

🍾☕️If you choose to combine these two drugs, make sure to drink water throughout to stay hydrated💦
