Should I Let Cocaine and Xanax Mix?

Should I Let Them Mix? Xanax + Cocaine

Some key things to consider before combining Xanax and Cocaine use:

🧪🔬Few scientific studies have evaluated the effects of mixing Alprazolam (aka Xanax) with Cocaine. The following information reflects the latest research available, but may not tell a complete story. Why not? See our previous post: Why Do We Not Talk About Drugs? 🚫🗣

😌🏖Alprazolam - widely known by the brand name Xanax - is an addictive prescription depressant used to treat anxiety and causes relaxation. It does this by decreasing anxious brain activity, but also decreases activity across the entire nervous system🧠😶

⚡️🕺Cocaine is an addictive stimulant used recreationally to increase energy and alertness. While Alprazolam depresses most nervous system functions, cocaine does the opposite to most functions, especially to heart rate🥵💓

🤯🔎When a depressant like Alprazolam is combined with a stimulant like Cocaine, the subjective effects will counteract each other. This causes the user to feel less of either drug’s effects and underestimate how much of each drug they may have consumed. While Alprazolam overdose is unlikely without another depressant like alcohol, these perceptual issues can make Cocaine overdose more likely when combined with Alprazolam🚑👊

🩸♻️Alprazolam and Cocaine are both removed from the body by the liver. Cocaine can cause longer term liver damage on its own, and the combining with Xanax only places more stress on the liver🏥😵

⚠️🚨If using Cocaine or Xanax (not acquired from a pharmacy), always make sure to test before using. Fentanyl lacing is significantly more lethal than either drug, whether used separately or together🚨⚠️
